There are some new exciting things happening over on our Instagram! We are thrilled to share more about our company and the people behind it whose innovation, passion, and determination are what makes Lake Shore Cryotronics a leader in advancing science.

Alivia Lake Shore Development Engineer

Our posts aim to showcase a side of Lake Shore that customers rarely get a chance to see. Every sensor, instrument, and system has a group of people behind it who work to better the world through our technology. Recently, we have been highlighting some of our engineers and scientists in conjunction with National Engineers Week, as well as International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

One of our posts introduces Alivia Lahr, a Development Engineer. She is shown working on developing prototypes for a plug-and-play sensor. When asked about her role at Lake Shore, she explains, “Science is constantly evolving, and I love that the customized products we offer are actively helping to advance that science.”

Kristine Lake Shore Quality and Metrology Engineer

We also featured Quality and Metrology Engineer Kristine Shiffman. She is seen arranging a sample for analysis using the Niton XRF Analyzer, which can detect the elemental composition of a substance. She states, “I like working with data... It's like piecing together a puzzle."

We hope you will check us out and give us a follow @lake_shore_cryotronics for more content like this in the future. You can also find us on Twitter and Facebook @lakeshorecryo, as well as on LinkedIn as Lake Shore Cryotronics.
