VSM Installation at Case Western Reserve

Recently, Dr. Jeff Lindemuth went to Case Western Reserve in Ohio to install a new VSM for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering study metals, ceramics, composites, and electronic materials. Under the leadership of Associate Professor, Matthew A. Willard, PhD, this VSM will help them to explore magnetic related phenomena including magnetic shape memory alloys, magnetocaloric effects, magnetic nanoparticles, and multiferroics. In the below photograph, part of this group includes, from left to right: Dr. Maria Daniil, Prof. Matthew Willard, Ms. Xun Zhan, Ms. Zhiyao Feng, Prof. Frank Ernst. Dr. Jeff Lindemuth from Lake Shore is also pictured at the right and in the following photo, in front of the installed VSM.
